Dr Lee Forman is an Infectious Diseases specialist on the Gold Coast having obtained a fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Dr Forman is available to see patients at Gold Coast Private and Pindara Private Hospital on the Gold Coast.
Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Dr Forman has accumulated over 17 years of experience as he completed his specialist training throughout various hospitals in Queensland including the Gold Coast University Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
He currently practices at Gold Coast Private and Pindara Hospital as well as Gold Coast University Hospital managing all types of General and Infectious Diseases presentations.
His clinical expertise spans inpatient and outpatient care, with experience in bone and joint infections, HIV and sexual health, viral hepatitis and chronic mycobacterial infections including non-Tuberculous pulmonary disease and Tuberculosis prevention and treatment.
In recognition of his commitment to medical education, Dr Forman was awarded Clinical Educator of the Year 2024 (Queensland). He holds academic appointments as Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and Adjunct Associate Professor at Bond University, where he is actively involved in mentoring students in the Solomon Islands as they experience first hand the devestation Infectious Diseases can cause in vulnerable populations.
Dr Forman accepts referrals for adult patients requiring specialist care in Infectious Diseases including complex medical conditions and long-term antimicrobial therapy.
